Answers:
Drink LOTS of water. Also be sure to work out every day for at least half an hour and be sure to get a lot of sleep, at least 8 hours a day because you are still young and growing. Eat lots of veggies and lean protien like eggs and chicken or turkey. Try not to eat after 7 P.M. and do lots of small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going. Example: Breakfast: veggie omlet and whole wheat, snack yogurt and string cheese, Lunch: turkey sandwich on whole wheat and carrot sticks, snack: handful of almonds, Dinner: chicken breast, salad. Hope this helps! Good luck.
You may have a high metabolism, so it depends on that what you need to do. If you drink coke, diet or not, stop immediately. That right there will probably help you drop 20 lbs.

Eat more healthy, more vegetables, and jog a mile or two a day. Its not rocket science to lose 20 lbs, especially if your giving yourself that much time to lose it.
i answered almost the same question about 90 seconds ago. same answer. put down the bon bons and hit the treadmill, everyday, maybe only for about 30 minutes. just stay away from the fat foods. then when you get to a weight that you want, you can eat whatever you want, to go along with the exercising
Losing weight is a simple mathematical equation...more calories burned off then eaten. What I would recommend...stop drinking sugar drinks (coke, lemonade, juice, etc...)...just drink water...give up fast foods.then...walk a lot...like 2-4 miles a day...

Good luck...
The best way is to exercise. Fat comes from when a person just sits around after eating. Right after you eat, you should consider scheduling some time for a walk or a jog. Walking for 20-30 minutes is sufficient. That way your body will metabolize the food and it will turn into muscle and not fat.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
eat better and work out that dosen't mean you can only eat tofu and you have to live in the gym you can still have some doritos just don't eat the whole bag and you can run, walk, jog, like 3 days aweek and if you can throw in some push ups sit ups etc that don't hurt. This is a perfect time in your life to start a healthier lifstyle and once you get started and see some results you can adjust everything to what works for you.Just eating btter and excercise will get you started for now
First of all, believe you can. It's not starting a diet that's the hard part, it's sticking with it when the going gets tough.

Second of all, it is important, very important, to go to a doctor first, especially at your age. Your doctor might tell you that you should not be losing weight so much as growing into your weight, and I can't answer that for you, and nobody on YouQA.com can either. Your doctor knows you best.

Also, enlist the help of the adults in your house. If not, this is going to be more stressful than it has to be.

Write down everything that you ate today and if you can remember, the day before. Take a good look at it. What are you eating and when?

Exercise is important. You don't have to jog, or go to the gym. A daily walk will do it. You don't need expensive shoes, or any trainer. Just walk fairly fast, and for a good half an hour. You should be a little out of breath. It helps to have a destination in mind, like the library, for example. Fun music can help. A bicycle is also a great way to get exercise without stressing out your muscles and joints.

Now you are exercising and you know what you are eating. Be sure to drink 6-8 cups of water per day. If you are a "grazer" it can help to have regular meal and snack times. If you always have a sweet drink constantly, use water for that and have your sweet drink as one of your snacks. If you feel deprived, that's a sure way to give up, so don't go overboard.

Look for these foods that you might be eating every day: cookies, candies, white bread, pretzels, pastas, crackers, chips... basically if it is made with white flour or sugar, that's a snack and to be limited.

Eat as much as you want of fresh vegetables. Try to see how many different colors of vegetables you can eat every day. Eat up to a couple pieces of fresh fruit per day. Avoid fruit juices. Get plenty of dairy products: at least 3 cups of milk every day. Make sure you are eating high quality protein every day: fish, eggs, poultry, or meat. Avoid sandwiches and bagels if you can, and just eat the good stuff, perhaps as a salad or on a plate with a knife and a fork.

Do not cut out all fat. We need fat to live. Whole milk is actually better for you than skim milk, because it helps your body absorb the calcium that you need. Olive oil is good for you; try it on salads. If you like nuts, have a small handful of nuts as a snack sometimes.

Here is a website that you can use to keep track of your exercise and what you eat. www.fitday.com

Every day look in the mirror and picture yourself the way you want to be. Tell yourself "You are a good person. You look great!" The more positive you are, the more likely you will be to succeed.

Allow yourself to have a treat once in awhile. Plan for it. It's ok to eat cake on your birthday, for example, or a huge dinner on Thanksgiving. As long as these are the exception and not the rule, they will not inhibit your progress. The idea is to make changes you can live with.

Good luck. You can do it!
Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
