Exercise can do wonders for us, but a lot of times it isn't a great weight loss tool if used alone. If you aren't terribly overweight, most exercises aren't going to burn a lot of calories. For instance, an hour on a stationary bike will only burn around 300 calories for a person who weighs 130 pounds. This isn't to say to give up exercise. It does help when used with diet, and it gives other benefits. In addition, weight training helps boost our calorie expenditure as muscle takes calories to maintain.
It comes down to calorie restriction. No matter which diet you do, you are ultimately going to have to reduce calorie intake. If you already eat low calorie, you should speak to a doctor to check to see if you have a thyroid or other glandular problem.

exercise isnt gonna really help you lose fat without fixing your diet. your problem is your diet. you have to eat right.
LOSE 20 POUNDS IN ONE MONTH WITH 48 MINUTES OF WALKING.
(works for me and im 13 almost 14. and works for many adults i know)
if u walk 48 min per day u lose 500% more than wut women lose doing 20 min of cardio everyday! its the legnth/time that matters!
omg! ok this is SO simple and its working for me. heres wut u do, u walk for 48 minutes everyday, and u eat this
breakfast: 1 cup whatever kind of cereal u want (no granola) with 1 cup of fat free milk
lunch: unlimited salad, about 1/2 cup protein (such as left over chicken or lean meat, low-fat cheese, tuna, or a boiled egg), about 1/3 cup of carbs (such as low-fat crutons, crushed baked corn chips, corn, beans or peas), and 2-3 tbs of fat free dressing. (the dressing is optinal.)
dinner: unlimited salad with 2-3 tbs of fat free dressing
and whatever u want eaten slowly off a child size plate. aim for at least 3. oz protein such as chicken, fish, or lean beef; stop eating when you're full.
*important*
make sure u add one serving of milk, yogurt, or low fat cheese AND have sugar free beverages. u CAN have low-cal extacts in moderation*
EDIT: BMI thing is lame cuz it says im in shape, age:13 weight: 130 (now im 125), and height: 5'3.
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL IF U NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT. IF U HAVE CELLULITE AND THE BMI SAYS UR IN SHAPE, then DUH lose weight lol! (not tryin to b mean).
Look into your diet ..thats 75% of our problems.
