How do i teach my pillow to eat?

Question:
it's so stupid! i hate this pillow. it won't eat! what is some advice?

Answers:
Some pillows are just like that. They are very difficult to train and one often has to resort to knocking the stuffing out of them in order to get their attention.

However, in this politically correct day and age, beating ones pillow is, or soon will be, either a class A misdemeanor or a 3rd Class felony and if the pillow is very young then no telling what kind of prison sentence might be incurred by just giving it a good swat. The old maxim of sparing the rod and spoiling the pillow cannot be relied upon anymore for sage advice from the past. What our grandparent could get away with when disciplining their pillows we cannot today. But, we can dream, can't we. Especially, when resting our heads on the very objects that might cause our dreams to be less than pleasant.

You have my deepest sympathy for having such a stupid and recalcitrant pillow. I hope you can eventually get it to do what you want. I wouldn't worry too much about it not eating. When it gets hungry enough, it will eat.
