not that i know of, as far as I know you do work out your jaw bone and cheek muscles.
i really doubt it...thats like saying you will lose weight if you prop your legs up in the recliner instead of leaving them hanging towards the ground...crazy!
Well, you are strenghtening your lower face muscles...so maybe! I'm not sure, though, because many of my friends constantly chew gum, but they still have full faces.
