Can Megace (Megestrol Acetate) help me gain weight with my normal eating habits?


Question:
After a battle with cancer and some weight loss, my Dr. Precribed me Megace to gain some weight back. Now, If I continue to eat normally will I somehow gain more weight? Or is the sole purpose of this drug to just increase the appetite? Thanks.
