Do you think this will help me get bigger.(read on)?


Question:
Alright I am kinda scrawny so I started doign some push ups and sit ups. (I do 50 push ups in the morning and 100 situps and then 50 more pushups at night and 100 sit ups.)

I am also eating more food and protien shakes too.

Will this help? How long do oyu think ti will take for it to show at this rate? I do not want to be huge or anything but have a little muscle.

Also someone said that doing these thigns on a chair where you face forward off the chair and have your legs out and push your but off the ground and then down will help (it sounds like garbage is it true)

Doing solely callisthenics such as pushups and situps only use your body weight so your going to plateau fairly quickly. You need to add additional weight to stress your body more.
Yes it will help. You don't say how old you are. If you are a teen you will bulk out as you get older.
I would start lifting weights to build muscle, pushups generally don't put on a great deal of muscle mass compared to bench pressing. I would join a local gym and start lifting weights . Try using whey protein shakes post workout.
