ok i just ate dinner and it was mashed potatoes with gravy and some broccoli with cheese and water...ive been dieting for the past couple days so my stomach might of shrunk or something but i dont know..todays dinner was the most ive eaten at one sitting the last couple days...and i kinda had a lot and now i have these sharp pains in my stomach..please does anybody know what it is?

Answers:
get some peptid bismol, and take some. That will help calm your stomach down, also drinking water and not being active will help your body focus on digesting your food because you'v obviously ate more then your use to.
gas.
Your stomach is not sure what to do with all the food. That is normal! You may also get diarrhea next. When the body is unsure of what to do with a sudden change, it reacts. You may also get gas. The pains will go away, but you won't feel good possibly for a few days.
Gravy...broccoli...cheese. Great recipe for gas. Which, incidentally, can cause sharp pains in the stomach and intestinal region. Lie down and let it out.
eat, fart, w/e
Probably had a little too much and you have gas if you haven't had a stool in a couple of day might be that and it's not come out far enough. (sorry) with dieting and having gravy and cheese.

Someone told me that broccoli and something else can give you stomach pains. If it continues go to your doctor.
