Can I strength train once a week and still get results?
Question:
Answers:
It's better than nothing. But you need to do this, say, at least every five days and you need to do serious compound movements: squats, deadlifts, lunges.
You'd probably need more than once a week.
What are you looking to do? Just tone up? Any exercise is better than none and if you get the most out of the thirty minutes you should see a little bit of results in a month especially if you just started strength training. You could get the same results going 3 times a week for two weeks. If you can make time to do it one day, you can make time other days. If your serious about wanting results you have to put in the time.
Don't neglect the rest of your body! Strength training doesn't have to mean getting massive. You should do a complete body workout to maintain balance. Just do low weight and high reps to get the toned look.
Good luck to you and stay motivated!
Any time you train in any amount over time you will get results, So the fast answer is yes. but you should be asking how much results would i get. that would be a complicated answer. It depends on your metabolism, food intake and the intensity of your strength training.? this no one could fairly answer with any real accuracy, except maybe a fitness instuctor with many years of experience behind them, but I would think youd feel the difference in a month at least, and see a difference in two. Thats just my opinion, based on my own experiences, I have no formal training except a few courses i took in highschool. But even if thats all you have time for.. dont beat yourself up, your already shooting obove the curve in comparison to most people. Just be patient,
I said yes if u did that for 30 minutes. i say it would take two weeks. keep working out.
