Answers:
~In a word, yes.
That said, why the hell are you taking something if you don't even know what it's doing to your freaking body in the first place?!!
Honestly!!
Anyway, your body and you have the right to screw it up if you want to I guess.
Some athletes use protein shakes to build muscle mass / to "bulk-up".
Supposedly, it increases your metabolism causing your body to burn up calories faster.
protein is necessary for muscle growth, but the difference between a shake vs. a steak is that the shake is more easily and efficiently absorbed
It can because it gives you ALL of the necessary ingredients crucial to muscle recovery, body building etc, but be careful not to overdo it because it can lead to excess caloric intake which = weight gain.
It supports teenagers.
it gives u protien? duh.
Ok, when you lift weights or work out your muscles grow since there is blood pumping there is tissues that get damaged & that is why they tell to alternate lifts every day, so you're muscles are able 2 recover and grow. what protein does is heal your muscles faster, so you can work them out often, and grow more.
Its no different than having a glass of milk or eating a steak. Its just food. Leftovers from cheese processing. Nothing special or magic.
