The grapfruit diet does work. The only thing is, is that it made me sick eating them all the time!! So now I just cut back on everthing I eat.
Yes, that is what you have to do. it is imperative you follow the diet exactly. I loss 13lbs. in 22 days.
Sure, it will help you lose weight in the short term aspect. But as with any diet, as soon as you revert to eating normally, you will gain back the weight you lost, and the a bit more.
The simple fact is that the only way you can maintain a healthy weight, PERMANENTLY, is to change your eating habits permanently. PERIOD. No way around it.
Eat serving sized portions of healthy, nutritious foods, cooked in a healthy way. That means eat fresh fruits and veggies when you want to snack. Drink plenty of water and cut out sodas, including diet. Bake, broil or grill your low fat meats. Limit your sodium intake to what's found naturally in the foods you eat. Don't eat fast food, and do away with the prepackaged frozen foods. Keep your metabolism up by eating 3 meals a day, and not skipping any of them, along with 2 healthy snacks between meals.
If you eat this way permanently, then you will never have to worry about losing weight, because you'll be doing nothing to cause the weight gain to begin with.
There are of course some exceptions. You can't just sit at home watching tv all the time. And some medications will cause weight gain no matter what you eat.
I have heard of it before only it was called a high protein low carb diet. You can eat all the meat and any thing that has more protein than carbs in it like cottage cheese or steaks, eggs, or you could eat any kind of meat that is high in protein. You can't stay on it for a long long time because I don't recommend it for young people or older people for long because you have to watch your cholesterol. Now for the bad news, you can't eat any bread or starchy foods like potatoes, buns or toast ,I used to fix hot dogs for the kids and want to just eat the bun after a while because I am a bread eater and along with this diet you have to walk or exercise some to help your system burn calories faster. I could eat the meat in sloppy joes but no bun, (bummer) or I could have two steaks and no french fries but I could eat all the salad I wanted.I couldn't drink the grape fruit because it gave me indigestion really bad, so good luck and it is just for a short starter for your system to start burning the calories instead of storing them.
For someone with so much money you should be able to pay for lipo. I saw your answer to some girls question about her bag and all you could do was sh!t on her and talk about yourself. "i have 2 louis v bags...mine was more than yours"...who the f. cares? Get a life and get Lipo fat @ss!
