How do i stop eating. I think i have a eating disorder?

all i can think about i food food food?? how can i stop

I know the feeling because i deal with that to. It is binging. Do you suffer from depression or how do you deal with stress? That is why i binge. I can gain 10 lbs. in no time.
Yeah, I think about food too much, too. I'm trying to find a hobby. I also make a schedule of what I"m going to do that next day, so I have no extra time to think of food.

Sometimes in the day when im bored i eat LOADS of snacks- i youre sitting there bored all day then this is the reason , get doing something!
Otherwise look it up on google?
if i was you, i would go to the doctors, and talk to him about it, he may put you in touch with a counsellor.
No one in their right mind will tell you how to stop eating but I will tell you something more important, google Yellow Pages and look up a good counselor and then go!
You need something else to concentrate on to take your mind off food. Chewing gum might help, it'll give your mouth something to do.
If you have real problems your doctor might recommend that you speak to a dietitian, maybe that might be helpful for you?
Try finding something better to do. Food is not the answer to every craving.
me too and i KNOW it's because i'm always bored and sitting around. in the rare circumstance i'm busy, i don't think about it at all. i think it's become just habit to sit and eat. what else are you supossed to do when you sit?!
It's not really the food itself, it's the sensation of eating and the TASTE that you crave. Find something (like pickles) that give you more than one "taste" sensation at a time to curb your cravings. I find that V8 juice works wonders and LOTS of willpower.
Stop going to the supermarket and when you do just buy fruit, no one ever said don't eat too much fruit!!
Here's the website of Overeaters Anonymous, they are a 12 step fellowship similar to AA, but for people whose addiction is food not alcohol. You could also go to your GP, who may be able to help.
