If i am on a diet, what should i eat?

Question:
im not fat, but im just trying to eat healthier.

Answers:
I hear Lard is good for you
plenty of fruits and vegies
If you're still growing you should eat a well balanced meal and just have water instead of soda, skip the cookies, try something unsugary for a breakfast cereal, etc,,,
cut out all junk food, no more sodas.. more vegetables, fruit, cereal for breakfast. i would cut out all late night snacks... and fat.you can also be more active, to tone your muscles.
Fruit and veggies are a great start. Have 1 large salad everyday loaded with your favorites. Eat whole grain breads, nothing white ok? Skip the cheese and mayo and read labels. You're never too young or too old to start living a healthy lifestyle. The real prize is that your body will really thank you as you get older. Be good to yourself too. Have something you really enjoy once in a while but just eat half...good luck
A balanced diet. Check out:
You are well aware of fresh veg, greens and good fruits, a lot of water and balanced vitamins and minerals. About all you can find some tips in the following site.
drink lots of water. eat lots of salad and veggies without salt or butter. make sure all your breads are whole grain. lean dairy products and lean meats. avoid red meats.
Switch to eating leaner protein like chicken breasts, sirloin, lean turkey, etc. Also instead of eating white bread, pasta, rice, you should switch to whole wheat. Cut down on sugary drinks and drink more water and instead of coffee, drink tea. If you're getting a craving for a certain fruit juice, just go for the actual fresh fruit. It satiates that craving AND it's a lot healthier.

Oh yes, and eat A LOT of fiber. It's good for digestion and it'll keep you from binging on bad foods.

It took me a while to fully switch my diet, but it's worth it in the end. I have more energy than ever before. My stress anxiety levels have dropped completely. I feel a lot more motivated.

Good luck!! ^_^
then you can't call it a diet. then you want to change your lifestyle - the food you eat.
it's the usual.. eat fruit, salad, vegetables...
but beware on how you prepare your foods, because if you're going to eat salads with dressing, it'll be of no use coz the dressing makes fat.
or if you make vegetables with a cheese sous, it'll be of no nutrians ether.
steam your vegetables until cooked or enjoy like the Lord gave it to us - 'raw', wich is the most healthy way.
happy eating:)
fruits and veges, kashi bars, baked chips, skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. Go to the weight watchers website. You can get lots of help there. The items I listed are just some of the things I put in my grocery cart. I lost 50 pounds doing weightwatchers. You can eat what you want, weight watchers just shows you how to eat without getting carried away .
But to answer more of you question,
cherrios, nothing fried, snack on pretzels. Good luck
First thing to lose is the idea of "being on a diet". Diet's are temporary solutions and have bad long term implications. What's the point of losing weight if you put it back on?

Adjust your life style and eating habits together. Drink more water, eat 4-6 times a day and avoid the large meals. Exercise. Count calories to match your food with your desired weight/size.
I've learned that being on a diet is not always the answer. myself i eat what ever i want but less, also i cut out foods that are fried. You just really answered your own question with you eating healthier. I think that is the key. hoped i helped you in anyway.
