School is coming, and so the cafeteria food?


Question:
I plan not to eat anything from the school cafeteria this year, because the food is too greasy, what can I eat instead of the cafeteria food. I think maybe I could eat an apple, or an orange, juice, or and oat meal bar. any suggestion,

turkey sandwich on whole wheat bead, applesauce in small container, orange or apple, water, maybe somehting like a couple Hershey kisses or peppermint patties or I do a cup of cottage cheese with mixed frozen berries, a slice of whole wheat bread, another veggie or fruit and a drink

Can you bring your lunch? You will need some protein too. Maybe just buy some milk or juice from the cafeteria?

definitely lots of fruits and veggies, they're very filling AND nutritious.

in terms of carbs, bring some whole wheat bread, or like you said an oatmeal bar, but make sure the oatmeal bar is a healthy one, not one filled with sugar.

you could eat fruit salad if you are trying to stay in shape I'm not saying that you have to eat it everyday. Also you can eat salad, you can stop at a fast food place and get lunch from there
Mc Donalds. theres allways one near by + its good nutritious food ,great for the figure & high in fibre
i know what you mean, that cafeteria food is replusive. like everyone else is saying, you could bring your own lunch, in which you could have healthier foods, fruit, veggies, healthy sammies, ect. if for some reason you can't take lunch to school, look for what, if any, healthy options they have in the cafeteria, maybe the have salads avaible? look around. good luck!
bring a sandwich, but dont starve yourself with something that is only carbs like fruit or juice... those raise your sugar level then drop it and you feel tired very quickly, you need something with "slow release" so, a roll with a couple of slices of pastrami (about 2-3 ounces) or an egg or even a spoon of peanut butter is much better, (you can put lettuce or pickles in it) it provides you with the energy, fills you up and is "slow release" so it sustains you over a longer period of time.
have one of these at 10-11 and another one at 12-1pm.
also bring a big water bottle and keep drinking. sometimes we mistake thirst for hunger.
try to avoid diet drinks because they contain chemicals that are not so good for you.
