How long do you spend at the gym?

Guys how long do you work out at the gym if you are tyring to gain weight

0 hours. i work out at home.
i work out 45 minutes in the morning and 45 before bed. :)
usually I spent about 2hours at the gym, that's more than most people I know, but I just love it, and at least a half hour of that is cardio every time i'm in there.
you should work out for 45 minutes a day to get the full workout, if you work out more than that your just straining your body.
you should be able to lift weights and do a good amount of cardio in under two hours. I used to play college football and the strength coaches never had us lifting any more than about an hour. But the workouts were still very intense. And most people were gaining weight amazingly quickly.

For Cardio and other things I'd say the more the better but ideally you want to get at least 30 min - 1 hour. So grand total a complete workout should be able to be kept under two hours. If just lifting keep it around an hour or less.
I do strength training 3X per week for 30 minutes. I get my cardio outside of the gym- commute by bike to and from work 2hours everyday.
