I too have an ultra slow metabolism. Basically anything that increases your heartrate will speed up your metabolism, the process in which one burns calories. First off, getting atleast 8 hours of sleep per night is important. Exercise & Drink plenty of water also. Spicy foods, Green tea & other anti-oxidants, like cranberry juice, a glass of red wine n' various vitamin C products are some ways. Also vitamin B6 in a daily dosage will assist the bodies metabolism. I know i'm varing away from the subject but you might as well be aware of you fiber intake also. High fiber foods break down easier, n' your digestive system will thank you also. ONLY eat fresh fruit on an empty stomach! Your tummy will hurt when you first start doing it, but this is only cause your not use to it. It actually is detoxifying your system. Eating fresh fruit on an empty tummy is a great habit n' the tummy pains will go away after you've done it a couple times n' your body gets use to it. it smaller meals every few hours..but they have to be healthy.. not alot of carbs!
I use to have a slow metabolism too. What i did was i ate breakfast every morning. Also excercised ( running), and now its a little too high metabolism i think.
Eat smaller meals trough the whole day, exercise daily for at least 20 mins.
More muscle = higher metabolism.

Well the best thing to do is go on a diabetic diet. that will help... its a breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack... all light foods... turkey sandwiches..look on the contents... you wanna count it out like this a meal should have so many points 15 mg makes 1 point.if you get 5 points per meal you can have 2 pieces of bread... the turkey doesn't even hardly have enough to count it if you get lean.one slice of cheese...a half of a cup of veggies and a half of a cup of pasta..snack would be like 3 points.like cheese and cracks... or peanuts or peanut butter and crackers.also spicy foods really speed up your metabolism.your rear end will be mad at you at first until you get used to it but it really helps... also long walks speed up your metabolism..you don't have to walk fast or power walk..just a good stroll will speed it up... hope this helps
