What Ways Can I Motivate Myself To Start Running Again?


Question:
I used to run track in high school and i havent run a mile since then (i graduated 2 years ago). i just haven't been motivated to do so since i work all the time and i'm often very tired after i come from work, but i want to get back into the shape i was in when i was running in school. how can i motivate myself to start running again?

tape a picture of urself on the fridge or bathroom mirror. preferably something like a track team picture of u running just to remind u what ur body looked/felt back then. u cd also bring runnin clothes/shoes with u to work n change when u get off so u wont have a chance to go home and get lazy.

try other more fun ways of getting in shape such as weights or sports

Coming from a person who was once on the track team go for it if you want. To be honest I personally don't like running, but I know what stretches and workout routines coaches have you do to run. So if you just want to get your body sculptured again do strength training exercises. You don't have to run to get in shape. Plus I have bad knees. So target the areas you want to improve.
