How Much weight can a woman loose in a year?

From what I have read and researched the healthiest way to lose wieght is by exercising and eating healthy. It has nothing to do with fad diets. Usually when you follow a fad diet after you stop you will gain all the weight back. By eating healthier and exercising and improving your health all over you are more likely to lose weight and keep it off instead of gaining it all back. It's better to make a lifestyle change then a change that follows a fad diet. I've read and researched that most docs only like to see 1-2 pounds a week of weight loss. anything more than that is considered unhealthy. Stop drinking sodas even if they are diet, they will bloat you and make you retain water. That said I have followed the advice I gave you and in 3-4 months I have lost about 30 pounds and have kept it off. I am toning and I feel a bit better about myself. Seeing the changes in the mirror is definitely encouraging. Good luck with your weight loss. :)
In a year, probably around 50-100 depending on what you weigh.
Well all you really need to do is pump up your water intake to 70-80 ounces a day, spreading it evenly throughout the days.
When you first wake up, drink 8 ounces of hot water with the juice of half a lemon. This is great for cleansing your system.
Eat breakfast everyday. Oatmeal (no sugar, just a little skim milk) with a banana is good. Or two egg whites and one egg scrambled or however you like it. You can add turkey or ham sliced to it.
Lunch- salad (spinach and lettace with cucumbers or anything you like) with grilled chicken, light balsamic vinegrette or apple cider vinagar as your dressing, and some feta cheese if you like. Also you can crunch up a Wasa cracker if you want some crunch.
4 pm- have either a piece of fruit, Or Dannon light and fit yogurt with some almonds in it.
Dinner- Have some meat/fish, tomatos, green beans or brocolli, salad if you like. and some fruit.
Dont eat past 7:30
Exercise- Either do 30 minutes at 3.5 with a 5 incline on the tredmil, or if you have no tredmil, then you can just jog up and down the steps for 20-30 minutes. (everyday)
It is recommended that you lose no more than 1-2 lbs. a week, and since there are 52 weeks in a year, a woman could safely lose between 52 and 104 lbs. a year.
well my mom lost 16 pounds in a month SO
do the math!
idk, but the easiest way to loose 10 lbs in a year is to eat 100 calories less than you usually would a day.
I checked Guinness Book of World Records and found no such entry.
If a woman under goes surgery to remove the fat I am sure that she can lose a couple of hundred.
well, lets say you had 120lbs you could lose, in one year you could lose 50-100lbs
1 to 2lbs a week
How? Divide your meals into 6 small meals a day
Get your heart pumping. Whenever your heart is beating faster then normal, its burning fat. So get running!
No sugar. If the ingredients say "high fructose corn syrup" dont eat it
No soda, at all, period. Every soda you dont drink, you lose 13lbs a year.
Drink a lot of water.
thats it, amazing huh?
A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. Engage in activity that gets your heart rate up and sustains it for 20 minutes. for most people its not a matter or what they eat but HOW MUCH they eat. Portion control is important.
Be realistic so as not to set yourself up for failure.
good luck..
Depends on the woman, her lifestyle, and her genes. I am a very small person. I randomly lost 12 pounds in two months after my soccer season. (probably muscle loss)
Metabolism has a lot to do with weight gain and loss. If you have good metabolism, (which improves when you eat less but eat more often) you can maintain weight or lose weight. If you have failing metabolism, you will gain weight.
Exercise is good too. Go out for a jog in the morning, just an easy one until you are ready to progress!
If you do it in a healthy way you can loose between 1-2 lbs. per week. Food is sort of a common sense thing. Foods that are fried and/or filled with sugar are, of course, a big no-no while natural, unprocessed foods such as fruits & veggies are your salvation. Even moderate exercise such as walking 30 mins./day has great benefits. If you're like me you'll find out from the walking that you start feeling so much better that it leads to other forms of exercise like working out or even running. The best thing to remember though is this is a long-term commitment. You can't try it for 2 weeks & decide it's not going to work for you. Of course, you should see big results within the first 2 weeks. Some people I know have lost up to 10 lbs. the first week. Of course that weight loss tapers off as you body adjusts to the new foods. Realistically, depending on HOW MUCH you need to lose, you could lose over 100 lbs. in 1 year.
Hi...
I am on a diet too...I had a nutrition course recently so I'll tell you what I know...
The healthy way of loosing weight is eating 3 balanced meals a day, reduce sugar and fat in your foods, have fruits and vegetables and up to 8 cups of water a day.
If you have a balanced diet you should lose @ 2lbs a week = 1stone in 7 weeks = @6-7 kg
The human body is very clever...if you are starving yourself your body will store fat and you will not loose weight as soon as you might think.
So...always have breakfast(fibre&carbohydrates) this way you don't need to nibble before lunch.
I can't really write everything down.e-mail me alina_ionela_p@yahoo.com
I lost eight stone in a year.
You don’t need to go on a fad diet, or only eat certain foods or even change the way you eat to have six small meals a day, it isn‘t viable for most people.
Just eat in moderation and exercise, make a healthy lifestyle change.
It is hard at first though once it becomes routine that it, it’s second nature.
I cycle around 18 miles a day, swim for two hours once a week, and run on average over twenty miles a week. I enjoy all of these things, and they weren’t something I would of enjoyed a year a go.
