How to tone butt, and outter thighs?

Question:
My body is pretty toned, i'm about 5'4, 125 pounds. The only area I can not seem to tone is my butt, and my outter thighs! I workout 5-6 times a week. 30-40 min. of different sorts of cardio, plus 30 of strength. I am seeing results everywhere on my body, except those trouble spots!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Wow sounds like you are really active; that is rare! Good for you :)

I have found that to tone your butt and thighs, various squats and lunges work very well. You can try different varieties like holding weights, walking forward lunges versus stationary, etc. Just figure out what kind you prefer and then decide on a number of reps (as many as you can do before you get tired) and sets (probably 3 or 4).

One particular squat exercise I stole from Tae Bo is excellent!

You stand with your feet together and step way out to the side with your right foot (wider than your shoulders), with both feet turned with your toes pointing outward. As you do this, do a deep squat to where your thighs are parallel to the floor. Push up with your right foot to return to the start standing positin. I usually hold my arms bent at my sides or in front of my chest. Repeat this as many times on the right side as you can before getting tired, and then switch to the left side. Do 3-4 repeats of this.

Then, if you want to add another element. Tag on a side kick after each squat. If you are squatting over to the right, you will kick with your left leg. After the squat, return to the standing position and then lean slightly onto your right leg as you lift your left out to the side in a kick (think Tae Bo commercials). Pretend you are kicking someone to your left in their stomach or chest. Then return your left leg to the start position and repeat the squat. Do the same with your squats on the other side; kick with your right leg.

Hope that made sense. Good luck!
Lunges and squats are good for the backside and thighs.
walk a lot on the treadmill. walk 5 mins, jog 30 sec, repeat for 30-40 mins.
That's normal for you, so don't worry about it.
try doing squats. thats when you act like your sitting down then standing back up again. its one of the best methods besides walking a hill.
Try walking up and down stairs for a long time. It'll give you extra cardio, plus it should tone your butt and thighs.
Really good for the outer thighs is a resistance band place around the ankles. Then alternate pressing out to the side with each foot. You'll feel the burn. I think you can use it for the butt muscles by pressing back. It really works - I took off inches.
