I want to get info on the Weight Watchers Point system.?

Question:
I don't want to pay to join, so any ideas on learning how to find and utilize this point system plan?

Answers:
If you don't want to pay for the information how can you be sure you're getting the right information. There's a lot of misleading stuff about WW out on the web and you won't know if you've got the real stuff or not unless you're willing to pay for it.

Even if you get the right information initially, down the road if you have questions who are you going to ask if you don't pay for it.

WW is a business and as a business their information is copywrighted. They pay dieticians and scientists to develop the safest weight loss program around. You want to do it for free. Sorry that's dishonest and in some places considered stealing.

Why not take the time to either attend a meeting (you can attend one for free) and talk to the leader or join online for a while?

One added benefit to paying is that since you're willing to invest something in the plan, you are more willing to do what you need to do to be successful and you really are worth it.
lol. go to the office and ask questions and ask on here too
The only way is to get the books. If you don't want to join weightwatchers, you will have to get them from a friend or check auction sites like eBay.
You can get a cook book at Sam's or Walmart for Weight Watchers. Lot's of GREAT recipies.

I am a Weight Watchers member and if you want you can email me at freeingmyself01@yahoo.com and I will email you the instructions on counting the points.
You've got to get your hands on a point finder. I have seen them on ebay, but they sometimes sell for as much as you would pay to join weight watchers. It really isn't that expensive to join and it would be worth it if you don't know anyone who is doing it who can answer questions. You could ask here but you might not get the answers you need as quickly as you would need them. If you joined you would also be able to get going right away instead of having to do tons of research before you can start. I am doing weight watchers right now and have done it before (I just had a baby) and have never signed up for the program, but I have many friends who have done it and have given me the info. It is one of those programs where once you figure it out it is very easy to follow, but you will have the initial learning period. If you do sign up you don't have to do the meetings unless you want to, but there have been tons of studies that have shown that being accountable and having that kind of support help people to stay on their diets. I just had my 3rd baby 2 months ago and I started weight watchers last month. I've lost 14 pounds in that one month. I still have about 44 more pounds I want to lose, and I have no doubt that I will lose it. When I did this before (after my 2nd baby) I lost 40 pounds and got to my goal weight, but then I got pregnant again.

If you are able to get a point finder, and really don't want to join, maybe I can help answer your questions. Just let me know!

Good luck with whatever you choose!
