Will I lose weight doing what I'm doing?
Question:
Last week, I started exercising, but not much b/c I am lacking endurance...but I am walking for 12 minutes a day on the treadmill, burning 120 calories, and then I do some weights for about 10 minutes. I know this is barely anything, but I actually used to NEVER exercise, so I figure this is at least a little something. I do this same routine every day, and will continue doing so. Will I lose weight doing this little exercise? I wasn't gaining weight before...just sort of stabilized where I was, and my life leans towards the sedentary.
I'm just trying to lose 5 pounds and tone up what I've got. Thanks for any info!!
Answers:
you sound liek you don't need to lose at all. just tone your areas you wan tto work on and you might gain like 3 pounds from muscle but look 5 pounds smaller-tighter and defined.
FOOD is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills, because the FOOD that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT. You don't get fat because of a lack of exercising, that's a myth. You get fat because you don't eat the right foods at the right intervals each day.
Also, the pattern that you choose to eat your meals each day is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills. This is true because your body is like an "engine" and it only needs certain foods at certain intervals each day, and if you don't eat the right foods at the right times then it won't burn those calories -- and you'll wind up storing those calories as fat tissue. (Hint: You need to eat more than 3 times per day to lose weight).
