Whats a great way to STAY motivated?

Question:
and deal with soreness when workinout

Answers:
Change your hobby.
Make work as your time pass. Then there will not be any difference between work and play for you. As no one needs to be motivated to play Base ball, you would not require any extra motivation when your work is your hobby.

All the best !!
1) Ask a friend or family member or group to diet and exercise with you, that way you can motivate eachother and also not feel alone. Plus, if you do it with a friend or group the same age as you, it could be more fun. By the way, when you exercise, try doing something you like to do. For example, swimming!

2) Its called taking a nice HOT bath. :]
Well listen to music to get your mind off it. plus do a 4 week plan start of slow and than make you work outs more intense. so you wont feel as much sornes. Good luck
Don't rely on motivation, which is an emotion, but instead make a commitment.
Maybe get a workout buddy. What helps the time pass for me is to listen to music. I'm working on getting motivated because I have not yet gotten into the habit of working out regularly, but what's helping so far is to look at the parts of me I don't like and say that I can make it better by just pushing a little harder. When I see improvement, that motivates me as well. Good luck!
This is what worked for me:

When I was running, and after I was done running, I caught myself telling myself how much I hated what I was doing. I noticed that when I told myself that, I really did hate it, it was a dreaded chore to accomplish everyday, and it made me sick to even think about it.

So, every time I caught myself thinking negatively about working out, I starting saying over & over to myself: "I love working out. I love working out. I love this. This feels good. I'm going to look great. I love this. I love working out." etc.

See. . . feeling follows action. A thought is an action. The feeling that follows is a result of that thought.

After trading in my negative thoughts for more positive thoughts, I started loving to work out.
I was running 9 miles a day and loving it.

Running causes the brain to release a chemical called "endorphins". This hormone is the body's natural form of morphine. That's why some people get addicted to running. They love the feeling they get when they're done. You will love it to. Is that motivating enough?

Don't give up. Keep working at it. A little bit everyday. Then one day you will see all the benefits and be proud of yourself for sticking to it.
Good luck.

Oh yes. . . . stretching before & after a workout is very important. It will keep you from getting injured, it will warm you up, it will reduce the amount of soreness when you're done. Hang out in a got bath or shower after the last stretching. Don't over-do it, and don't underdo it. After awhile as you get stronger, the pain will not be as bad.
