How cheap can I get dumbbells for?

Question:
I'm looking to get some dumbbells ranging from 10lbs to about 50lbs. How cheap are they, and should I buy them at a shop, an online store, or from someone selling used weights?

Answers:
I have seen them in dollars store for under 2 bucks and stuff..
Under 20 bucks
Second hand used set always preferable.
Go to www.freecycle.org. You might be able to get them for free!
I think Wal-mart has good weights that are cheap. Go check there. If you are not satisfied with those or the selection you could search around for the best prices and what you like the best! Talk to the people in the specialty sports stores they can help you pick what is best for you! Good luck!
I would say get some used weights. I mean, come on, they can't really be wrecked or unusable.
try running ad in freecycle someone is there giving them away im sure you would just have to ask and go pick them up free is good dont you think and walmart or about any store like it sells about everything you want
some one selling used weights is the best and cheapest

Believe me, I did not like the shape and crude finish of the ones sold in old iron mart. I was offered a price of Rupess 200 in indian currency

then I went and bought 2 dumbbells weighing 5.5 Kgs each paying Rs.1100 . Only one day I used it and somehow did not find the energy to lift that next day

Do decide on the used ones . It is the safest and best bet
