Calorie Miscalculation?

Question:
Okay, sorry for bothering about the calorie thing again. But my Basal Metabolic Rate is 1390 calories burned. And i burnt about 1000 by running, swimming, and karate. Does that mean I have to eat at least 1800 to 2000 calories? Isn't that too much? And also what's the normal amount of calories you should lose per day when trying to lose weight? When is the limit?

Answers:
This means if you lay in bed all day you would burn 1,390 calories.

By burning about 1,000 that would put you around 2,400 calories per day.

There are about 3500 in a pound. You should aim for 1-2 pounds per week with a calorie deficit of 500-1000 per day. If this is your daily excercise level aim for 1400-1900 a day for weight loss. Feel free to email me if you need more help.
what goals are you trying to achieve with your body?
You caloric needs depend on your weight, height, gender, age and activity level.

One guideline i've seen when trying to lose weight is to take your target weight in pounds, multiply by ten, and eat that many calories per day. So if your target weight is 160 lbs, try to eat 1600 calories per day. No guarantees, but it works for me. Don't go below 1200 calories per day.
