1lb or 2 lbs for safe weight loss that i'm most likely to stick to without feeling starved?

When i lost a load of weight I just ate pretty much the same. Cut out Soda and high calorie juices and worked out atleast 3 times a week about 1 hour cardio workouts.
You will easily lose weight just working out more and eating the same!! Especially if your only lookin for 1-2 lbs

Make sure you drink plenty of fluids,put bottles of tap water into the freezer at night,then when you go out to a walk or an exercise class you have a steady supply of cold drinks to hand + it is cheaper than paying £1 per bottle.If you want to do some exercise but have medical issue's try doing aqua aerobics.
Your local pool should have classes,check them out.This gives you the benefit of an aerobics class but less impact on your joints,heart etc.The force of the water adds as resilience both men & women can do it.
