How can I loose 20 pounds fairly quickly without surgery or pills?

Don't eat as many sweets, try to exchange them for an apple once a day.
Exercise 30 minutes a day.

You are still growing. Your body is going through puberty and changing. You do need to be a healthy weight for your body to develop properly. Don't worry too much about your weight, just have fun and get exercise. You'll be fine!

Yea your a chunky girl I say about 20-30lbs you'll look lean... Maybe even 15 I was that size @ 12 ... swimming and Just need to be active. DRINK ALOT OF WATER Like clean your whole house while tightening your stomach and dancing around for 2 hours breaking a sweat everyday will make you lose weight in an INSTANT. I tried tae-bo and it worked. Green Tea. no bad foods. Eat till you FEEL FULL dont over eat. Drink a glass of water b4 eating so you'll full quicker... 5 cups of green tea a day. and THE BEST ONE IS DO NOT EAT AFTER 9PM!!!!!!!!!... If you feel hungry eat yogurt,(SPECIAL K CEREALS IS THE BEST) SLIM FAST shake... fruits, peanuts,... If you do all of these you'll lose it in 2weeks
I was going to answer with some hardcore weight loss advice,, but then I saw your age. As the moogs said, you are still growing and you are fine. It's only if your weight becaomes an issue and you have difficulties that I would worry, but for now just eat a healty, BALANCED diet to help you with the growing you will still have to do, and take regular exercise, even if this is just through school or walking. Get out there and have fun-12 is no age to worry about things like this!

only way that i can think about loosing that much weight is a lot of running and don't forget to wear a sweat suit (if u really want to loose it fast) but don't forget to drink a lot of water after
and well not more then u are loosing but u need to drink some
but do not dehydrate urself
and ya take same stool softeners they work really good and um...well don't eat lol
and i would loose like 30 ;)

Well, exercise is always a great way to lose weight. As well as a good diet. However, at that age you'll want to consult a doctor or professional trainer about exercise. Running, push ups, sit ups, and pull ups are great at any age but you don't want to lift weights heavily at a young age. You say you don't want pills but you don't know what pills are capable of. If you're only 12, then... no offense, but
you've got a lot to learn. Listen. Those
pills you see in your local pharmacy &
supermarket are effective only for the
manufacturers: they make them a lot of
money. But they are not going to help
you. (You might as well resort to stuff-
ing envelopes to try losing pounds; if
you do, though, you'll also lose a lot of
money.)
You need a good, basic exercise plan.
One that's designed for you, and you
ONLY. I'd suggest you modify your
diet and do as much walking as you
can. Walking is, after all, one of the
most basic exercises you can do.
Also, arm stretches (for your (biceps)
won't hurt. And it's another one you
can easily get used to: just pull back
your arms vertically, then down in
a horizzontal direction.
Surgery? That's only for emergency
