What is an appropriate work-out regime?

What is an appropriate work-out regime for someone attempting to lose weight, increase endurance and gain overall cardiovascular health? How many miles should I work out per week to see results and how long will it take to see results?

Answers:
You should go to the gym 4 times a week.
2 days upperbody exercises and 2 days lower body and abs.
Examples of upperbody exercises:
chest press
bicep curl
tricep pressdown
row
lat pulldown
shoulder press
push-up
dip
20-30 minutes cardio
Examples of lower body exercises:
leg press
leg extension
leg curl
squat
lunge
calf raise
crunches
leg lifts
torso twists
20-30 minutes of cardio
This should take about one hour each time.
If you work out consistently and watch your diet,you should notice a difference in 4-6 weeks.
Eat more carbohydrates and protein.
Eat less fat and sodium.
First...get outta bed. Have a rice muffin with low fat yogurt (YUK!). Take a shower, and don't go straight to the PC for helpful advice.

Knowing how to be healthy is intrinsic nature. You know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm guilty too. You should see my hiney. (Really, you should, heh). Tight like a chicken on meth.
It's really easy to get into the "Lazy Mode". It is extremely hard to get into "Healthy Mode" once we've made a conscious/subconscious decision to be Mister/Miss Lazy.
Just start by keeping your mind intact concerning the issue. You'll know what to do before you fall onto the floor wiggling about in frenetic, miocardial agony.
You be you. You'll know what to do. You're a gorgeous person, talented and intelligent, and Paris Hilton makes me wanna projectile-vomit like a firehose.
It's in all of us to be pretty smart, especially when it comes to our own survival. Now go walk your dog. He'll appreciate it too. (Bark-Bark) Or maybe your giraffe. I dunno. Just walk it and let it poop on the neighbor's lawn. They need the exercise too. In fact, use their newspaper to clean it up with. Call it the latest "campaign smear".
Relax. But not too much. And check out the fridge. Soda pop is probably the worst contributor.
