Trying to lose weight before school starts?


Question:
school starts in less than a month is there anyway to lose about 10lbs by then?? any exersize reccomendations??

its healthy to lose about 2 lbs a week, you could probably lose 10 if you kicked @ss. good luck! work out as much as you can (cardio) and definatley watch your calorie intake regardless of what your diet is

go running every morning, it will become a habit and it will help. do jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups. good luck!
Walking is always the best exercise. I actually lost a little over 20 pounds in a month by cutting out all sugary drinks and drinking nothing but water...ALOT of water.
build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.

drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.

eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.

don't sit in front of the tv while eating.

do aerobic exercises

do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all

starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
and you'll gain weight faster
like bears saving their food for the winter.

try to avoid eating so much carbs i
instead aet whole grains and whloe wheat
be sure to eat plenty of fruits of vegies along with water
for exersixe i would usually do
10-15 warm up on eliptical machine if u don't have one i suggest jogging
1hr of cardio puchups, lungesm squats, crunches, lifting weights etc.
10-15 cool down on eliptical or jog

1 pound = 3500 calories. So to lose 10 pounds you need to burn an extra 35,000 calories. If you divide this my 30 days, you get 1167 calories. You would need to burn an extra 1167 calories per day to lose this amount of weight. This assumes you do not consume any more calories than you are now, and this would be on top of whatever exercise you are currently doing. Walking a mile burns about 100 calories, so you would need to walk about another 12 miles every day. as you can see, this would be tough. That's why the recommended rate of weight loss is about 1-2 pounds per week. I hope this helps.
