Yesterday I ate...do you think I should change my diet...?


Question:
For Breakfast: A bowl of watermelon and a cup of coffee (with cream and sugar)
For Lunch: A grilled chicken caesar calad (chicken marinated in veggie oil, fresh garlic, and a dash of garlic salt. The dressing was NOT fat free.
For Dinner: A broiled steak (marinated the same) and mixed veggies cooked with parkay.
I am not on a diet but I don't want to eat bad. For those of you that watch your diet, Should I change some things? I am at a healthy weight for my age, height etc. but I am concerned about heart disease etc. What should change?

You actually have a pretty healthy diet..but if you are concerned about heart disease or cholesterol then you could cut out the vegetable oil and replace it with extra virgin olive oil and also cut out the parkay. Replace the dressing with fat free. The Light Done Right dressing are really good in any flavor. I use non dairy creamer in my coffee and nutra sweet. I am not sure if sugar isn't better for you though with all the reports on artificial sweeteners.
Well, I am in good shape and run marathons so I'm super picky about my diet, and heart disease runs in my family as well. If I were you,

I would get rid of the cream and sugar
I would have my dressing on the side and not use very much, if any of it.
I would drastically limit the red meat.
Give up coffee, cream and sugar. They are bad for your arteries. Also give up chicken and beef. They contain too much protein (site below tells what American Heart Assoc. says about this) and saturated fat. They also contain antibiotics, hormones and other nasty stuff. Eat a lot less salty salt salt salt.
DONT CHANGE YOUR DIET YOUR DOING FINE.
