Whats the best thing to drink or eat before workouts?

Protein shakes? whats best way to make them, or energy booster? or taking supplements?

Answers:
Don't eat much of anything before your workout. If you feel you need energy to begin with, then fruit juice with no added sugar is great. Drink water throughout your workout, then if you need extra protein, have a shake afterwards. Better than that, eat a steak!

40 minutes before your workout eat some rice ,potatoes, yams , or oatmeal. this will release slow and keep you going. save the protein shake for after your workout.
Waters always the best thing to drink. You cant go wrong with it. I LOVE WATER!

An hour before you workout, eat a meal of whole foods with a good balance of carbs and protein.

If you want, take some creatine at the same time.

chocolate milk. umm, yea it has been proven to be the most effective energy drink AFTER a work out.
