What would be more accurate? Today i went to the Dr.'s Office and was weighed on a traditional mechanical?

Question:
scale which seemed like the nurse did it pretty half heartedly and rushed...now I went home and weighed myself 3 times at home on a digital (weight watchers brand)scale and got a different weight from the mechanical scale varying in about 3 pounds... which is more accurate?

Answers:
your digital, i believe. happened to me for years - everytime i went to the doctor's, i weighed about 3 lbs. more than i did at home on a traditional scale. i finally bought a digital scale and now, well, i'm 3 lbs. heavier than i always thought i was. doctor was right.
They would say theres are but did you maybe get a drink on the way home or ingest anything? that could of thrown you over? Maybe it was extremely hot outside and you bloated I wouldn't worry over 3 lbs take the lower reading you'll feel better and call me in the morning.
As crazy as it sounds, they may both be accurate. Your weight flucuates throughout the day due to water, food, regularity, etc. I weigh myself in the morning with no clothes. Dr appts are usually mid day where I'm weighed with clothes and there is always a 4-6 lb. difference. If you are tracking your weight remember to always weigh yourself on the same scale at the same time of day at each check-in. Also, if you choose to wear clothing when you weigh in make sure you wear the same thing. This will give you more accurate results.
