Can you be tall then your parents?

Question:
if your parents lived in a poor area, that means they were shorter than what they could have become because of malnutrition right,my dad is 5'6.is there a chance i can be 6,0,if im really healthy

Answers:
my dad is 5'6" and my mom is like 5"4".

i am 5' 11.5" tall. an inch short of 6 feet.

what u are saying has truth to it. malnourishment can lead to not growing to ur maximum potential. there is also another side.

if u look at 2nd or 3rd generatio chinese, japanese and other asians, those who are born in america are taller than the ones born in china or japan. so yes, diet and nourishment does paly a role. but the 2nd and 3rd generation are still shorter on average than the average white or black male.

so it is diet and genes combination. and from the looks of it, a diet rich in calcium and proteins makes u taller.

get plenty of sunlight. vitamin D is processed by the help of sunlight. get 10 - 15 minutes on a hot day. 20 - 25 minutes on a normal day. don't overexpose urself.

get plenty of sleep. at least 8 hours a day.
sleep regulates ur growth hormones.
that has nothing to do with it. it depends on ur genetics. and u could be 6'0 but u could also be 5'6. u cant say cause ur parents were poor thats why theyre short cause thats not true, so stop thinking of an excuse nad face the facts that u might not turn out that tall.
