What is good and healthy to eat for breakfast that will keep me full?

I need food that will be low in calories and sugar that I can eat and it will control my hunger for 3-5 hours.
Answers:
One of the best ways to remain full is to have some protein with your breakfast, stays in your bloodstream longer. Do this with some fruit or vegetables, and combine with a carbohydrate.
I have a problem with low blood sugar so I've learned a few things about putting together a bkfst that will sustain for about 4 to 5 hrs.
You may want to combine eggs with slice of toast and small cup of yogurt. Or try leftovers, sometimes I'll have turkey sausage with 1 to 2 cups of vegetables for bkfst. along with a little quinoa or a slice of toast for a carbohydrate.
Oatmeal if you like it, personally I think it's disguisting but it should keep you full.
i love the cereal kashi, its very good for you, and keeps me, at least, full for a long time :]
Oatmeal with fresh berries in it. (Not instant oatmeal, tho.)
oatmeal is the best thing here...if not oatmeal, i would opt for a hard boiled egg and some fruit.
Don't forget the coffee..
Throw out all your notions of what true "breakfast food" is. I often eat leftovers from last night's dinner or yesterday's lunch for breakfast, such things as enchiladas made w/ ground turkey, rice, beans and cheese, lasagne, rice and beans and salad, meat and potatoes and veggies b/c I am diabetic, and that's just what works out best for me. If you don't like those ideas, try bagels and lox, an omelette w/ lots of veggies and cheeses, blueberry pancakes w/ turkey sausage, a BLT or two...Low in sugar isn't at all a problem. Low in calories concerns me in that you request to have no hunger pangs for 3-5 hrs. Low cal does not lend itself to that AT ALL. In fact, in order to not be hungry for an hour, you MUST put protein and some fats into your meal choice. If you're eating say 1800 calories a day, figure on a meal of about 600 cals. I also find it best to eat more in the beginning of the day, and far less as the day goes on. This lends itself much better to truly losing weight. You cannot overdo the veggies, fruits and salad.

I know how important it is to control your blood sugar. Ten years ago, I found out I was suffering from chronic depression. Then I learned how to control my symptoms by controlling my blood sugar with food and exercise.
I don't know if you like eggs, but if you do, here's a very filling, low-glycemic meal...
1 whole egg
4 egg whites
1 orange, apple or other high-fiber fruit or 2 cups berries
Mix the eggs up to make scrambled eggs and eat the fruit on the side. Drink 16 oz. of water and you shouldn't be feeling hungry at all.
If you don't like eggs, consider eating non-breakfast foods like chicken, ham or some other lean protein. When eating for health, you sometimes need to think outside the box.

oatmeal is a great breakfast to keep you full, but it still contains high carbs. High carbs and sugars can keep your cravings going for the rest of the day. I recommend a small amount of oatmeal, small amount of fruit and a glass of skim milk. :) Don't forget, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
I have porrage for breakfast at about 7.30-8 and I am not hungry until about 1. dont add sugar to it though, put cut bananas or strawberries on top to make it tastier
