and 11 grams saturated fat.I am asking this question becuase i want ot find out if the schools food is healthy. This amount is not the whole day but only lunch.sometimes eats breakfeast too.

Answers:
I would definitely start packing a lunch. Plus, that way you know what is going in the food, and YOU are the only one touching it.

You never know how sanitary the lunch people are.
I actually don't think that is right...I don't like our kids lunch menu either. Its pretty crappy. Pack a lunch
It sounds a little weird. You might want to pack your own lunch.that way you can know what you are eating and eat what you want everyday!!
no sweety, that is a high number of cholesterol and saturated fat and i think you should talk to your principle with your parents about it, or pack your own healthier lunch
at his age, if he doesn't have any health probs or disorders, it is actually very important for his growth. If you properly study diets and what is needed for child developement, you will see that cholesterol actually builds vascuality and that certain saturated fats are vital to hormone balance and overall growth. The child must start paying attention to his diet once he/she hits pueberty because that is when different sources of growth are used and most circulatory systems do not grow.

This statement is assuming that this child is not obese, gets enough excersice, and has no major health risks.
