im askin this cuz i feel that my shoulders are a little bit small ( not very ) comparing with the other parts of my body, so i would want to work it out a little bit more than the other muscles until its size becomes fit with the rest of my body. someone told me it takes 48 hours to recover, is that true ?
by the way im 22 years old (male) and i left weights.. thank you for ur help

If you're just beginning, it usually takes 48 hours.
The longer you've been working out, the more you know how to really blast them.
If you get a super hard workout, I'd say 72 hours is a minimum.
I usually feel some residual soreness for up to 4 days, and I only work once a week.
End of story: Same as any other muscle.
