Did i just kill my day?


Question:
i had a great day ( diet wise ) i ate a good healthy breakfast of egg beaters then i had low fat peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat and an apple and peach for dinner i had a salad with grilled chicken butt then at about 8:30 i had about 400 calories worth of chex mix did i just ruin my day

That doesn't sound so bad. Did you exercise today? Try walking an extra mile or two tomorrow to burn some of it off if you are concerned.
not exactly but if you could do 20-30 minutes of cardio tonight you wont even need to feel guilty about it
omg i know what u mean.. i could diet perfectly morning til dinner and then i start to mid night snack! ickkk that ruins my day and u sound like u already know the answer to ur question.. it sux but be stronger and have a wil power to know when to stop.. when ur craving drink water- which fulls u up and chew on gum which makes u forgwet about food =]
LOL. . .I have done the same thing a number of times only with Oatmeal Crisp cereal. . .and my consumption was WAY over the 400 cal mark, and I don't even want to know the carb intake. It is ok to splurge once in awhile within reason. I always take my splurges as a lesson, if I am going to splurge on a high cal snack, I better be willing to work it off later. Trust me 90 min on the treadmill or elliptical will make you think twice before splurging.
If you did well with the rest of your day, than you deserve a treat.

my god, that are (combined with the chex mix) 1400 calories! that is waay too low
Shoot I just eat whatever I want when I feel hungry and I feel great. Of course I do plenty of excercise. I just don't like being so up tight about the choices I make, as long as I know I'll be fine in the long run. We all live to die eventually.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
