Weight Watchers - how many points for tuna?
Question:
Answers:
it's probably different for each brand but I know that bumble bee solid white albacore in water is 2 points for one can.
I also saw that prime fillet albacore steak entrees, ginger and soy is 4 points for 4 ounces
and the one with lemon and cracked pepper or mesquite grilled are each 3 points for 4 ounces.
Hope this helps!
I am not really sure, but this website has a lot of info on it.
Why go in for weight watchers if every now and then u have to make such queries?
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
It really depends on the brand and portion size, if you are really in weight watchers you should have your points table or calculator, to know the points depending on Calories, fiber and fat.
The tuna that I eat is 2 pts. for 100 grs.
The nutritionial information is all you need to calculate the points for yourself. The points are based on total calories, total fat grams, and total fiber grams.
I've never used the flavored tuna, so unfortunately I don't have the nutritional info to go from.
You can also check out this website, www.dietfacts.com, look up the specific tuna by brand you are talking about. It will give you the same nutritional information as on the package and under that it will show the points per serving. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that each of those pouches has more than one serving in it.
