About eating, i read that if you burn off all the calories you consume, that how you lose weight...?

Question:
so then is it better to do that or to eat, and burn off some of the calories w/exercise?

Answers:
Eat low caloried food and burn off more calories by exercising. Starving or eating very little slows down the metabolism and makes losing weight more difficult.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

Details such as my experience, types of foods and veggies to eat, healthy low fat snacks, meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

It dosent really matter that much with calories because you burn them doing everything you do, even sleeping you are burning calories, watch your fat intake and dont eat after dinner, make sure to exercise for at least a 20 minute period after dinner.
Your body naturally needs between 1800-2200 calories a day. You should never starve your body to lose weight but try to burn more calories then you consume. A pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories therefore cutting say 300 calories a day and burning 200 calories a day you could lose a pound a week. The most important thing to keep in mind is that when trying to lose weight you do so in a healthy way.
remember your body stores food as glycogen and fat. when you eat, your body uses what it needs and stores the rest. you have to eat to lose weight. make sure you eat at least 1200 calories a day. if you divide that into 5 or 6 small meals your body will not store anything you eat.
burn more calories than you eat = weight loss
burn as many calories as you eat = weight stability
burn less calories than you eat = weight gain

so eat less and exercise more to lose weight
