Is Rice heallthy to eat?
Question:
My family eats it once in a while, but now my mom has cut back even more. We used to it about 3-4 times a month and now it is only when we have guests over for dinner.
I just want to know, nutritously, how healthy is it to eat rice, and how often/how much should we be eating.
Thanks for any help!

Rice is very healthy. The leanest healthy populations in the world eat it as a primary staple. I would pick brown rice or wild rice over white rice. Also, I would not fry it.
I heard it is.
Rice is low in fat, and calories while high in fiber and other nutrients. I thinks it's healthy.
