I need a way to work on balance for hand stand pushups and standing help please.?

Question:

Answers:
Build your balance from the floor up. Spread your fingers wide to increase the surface area on the floor. Use your hands actively on the floor to make subtle adjustments for balance. It takes a lot of core strength to maintain balance in a hand stand. This means the deep abdominal muscles as well as the muscles in the small of the back have to be very strong and supple. You use these muscles to make very subtle adjustments to the forward and backward positioning of the hips. Also, reach your feet constantly toward the ceiling. This length of the body helps to keep the whole body engaged, which allows you to make all the necessary adjustments for balance. You can also use your feet as a counterweight. To develop the necessary core strength it is good to practice pressing slowly into a handstand, first with wide legs, then with straight legs. Doing handstand push-ups takes tremendous arm strength, so practice first against a wall, as well as practicing the tuck-and-roll so that you are confident that if your strength gives out you won't land on your head and break your neck. Also try this: Stand on your feet with your eyes closed. Become aware of all the little micro-movements that your body does to maintain balance. We do this sub-consciously but it is amazing the constant amount of adjustment it takes just to stand on our feet. Your body has to do the exact same kind of constant adjustments during hand standing, only upside-down. Remember - START WITH THE HANDS. The base is the most important part.
