How many pounds would i lose if i don't eat for one day?

I am 5'5 and weigh 135 I am also 28 and have had 3 kids. Also, I don't know what your eating habits are, but it certainly wouldn't hurt for me to tell you that portion is everything. Instead of eating a whole candy bar, eat half of one, hell, eat HALF of everything you eat and you will never have a weight problem.Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day, green tea is very good for your body as an antioxidant and help subtly speed up the metabolism. Salads (without fatty dressings and cheese) are very good for you, chicken is the king of meat in my opinion, as long as you don't fry it. Avoid fast food entirely, and walk anywhere you can as often as possible and buy a 10 minute tae bo dvd on ebay. Drink diet sodas and juices (aka - cherry coke zero, sobe lean, crystal light, etc.) avoid sugar, switch to the 100 calorie snack packs, including popcorn. Eat apples, they are very filling! Cheese is an unecessary evil as well, so is milk, if you have to have it, drink the fat free kind. 100 calorie popcorn is a great snack. Eat turkey lunchmeat instead of a whole sandwich, etc. Eating is necessary, over eating is not. I also have a meal shake in place of a meal, I find it incredibly helpful at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Probably not any. Most likely you'd be so hungry that the next day you'd eat anything, good or bad. Better to hit the fresh veggies hard, indefinitely.

No one can peer into the future and tell you. No one knows what you weigh, how old you are, how active you are, how much of your body is fat and how much is water, or what's going on inside your body at this moment. Any answer you receive here is going to be just a guess.

if you stop eating completely your metabolism will slow down, and while you will lose weight, almost all of it will be muscle and you wont be pleased with the results
Your body would probably just retain fat because it begins to go into the "oh noes, i'm not going to be getting any food" mode.

you may lose one or two from water weight, (and more than likely you would at the most lose one, but you could also gain weight and lose it all day long.)
If you are concerned about your appearance, rather than the actually weight number, you probably won't look much different and their is a big possibily you will look heavier from becoming gassy and bloated.

Just to add, If you have an event or something you are trying to look good for, I would suggest you do eat something light the day of and the day before so that emotionally you feel at your best. Nothing feels worse than completely overeating and then trying to look skinny, lol. It is somewhat in your head, but when you eat badly, you just end up feeling bad and that contributes to how you look.
Most likely none, if any. And don't do it. If you don't eat the amount of calories your body needs to run efficiently during a day, your brain thinks that there is no food available. Your brain then tells your body to store all the fats that become available for later use because it freaks out and goes into a "ration food to survive because i'm starving" mode. The next time you do eat after this long period of "starvation," your body does exactly what the brains says...it converts and stores the calories from the food that you into fat. This is the same fat that people are always trying to lose. If you try to lose weight by not eating you are defeating your own idea. That's why people always say. "eat healthy." Make sure you get the proper healthy nutrition and try excercising. Excercising could be as easy as walking around the block or playing raquetball with some friends.
