Green Tea?


Question:
I am trying to lose at least 10 lbs. before the start of school in 1 month.
Today I did 200 sit ups, a 60 min. cardio workout, and I swung on a tree to work my arms.
I am 14, and weigh 148 and am 5'5
I ate fruits (peaches,apricots,grapes,banan... peach honey bunches of oats, and broccoli.
I have drank 4 big liter bottled of Lipton diet green tea with citrus in the last 2 days. It says it has 0 calories.

Does this green tea help with losing weight? And does my diet sound okay? Do you think I can lose 10 lbs on it in 4 weeks?

I suppose the diet sounds o.k. and you'll lose weight faster if you excersise. I'm sure the green tea thing will work, because my mom was told that it's the right beverage to drink, depending on your diet.. I'm not sure about the details of drinking it, but all I know is that in general, the diet sounds alright and the green tea deal doesn't sound bad.
green tea speeds up your metabolism and is a fat burner. if you really want to lose weight you need to be very careful since you are so young. take it a day at a time. and make sure that you are actually eating enough. eating 5-6 small meals a day is better than eating very little.
The simplest formula to loose weight is always eat the quantity you need only. Anything you eat in excess and if you dont burn it it becomes fat and stored in your body. Always keep an eye on your calories intake. Sugar always the culprit.

I have tried green tea.it doesnt really work for me. You may try oolong tea which if im not mistaken is for weight losing or if you cant get this try drinking down plain tea twice a day.

10lbs...not a big deal..You can loose it provided you are diciplined and set your mind that want to do it. Off course with proper way of dieting, exercising and healthy eating.

I am 5'5 and weigh 135 I am also 28 and have had 3 kids. Also, I don't know what your eating habits are, but it certainly wouldn't hurt for me to tell you that portion is everything. Instead of eating a whole candy bar, eat half of one, hell, eat HALF of everything you eat and you will never have a weight problem.Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day, green tea is very good for your body as an antioxidant and help subtly speed up the metabolism. Salads (without fatty dressings and cheese) are very good for you, chicken is the king of meat in my opinion, as long as you don't fry it. Avoid fast food entirely, and walk anywhere you can as often as possible. Drink diet sodas and juices (aka - cherry coke zero, sobe lean, crystal light, etc.) avoid sugar, switch to the 100 calorie snack packs, including popcorn. Eat apples, they are very filling! Cheese is an unecessary evil as well, so is milk, if you have to have it, drink the fat free kind. 100 calorie popcorn is a great snack. Eat turkey lunchmeat instead of a whole sandwich, etc. Eating is necessary, over eating is not. I also have a meal shake in place of a meal, I find it incredibly helpful at 3:00 in the afternoon.
