I dont think you are measuring the right spot for your waist because I am 5'9" and have a 36 inch waist and weigh 190. I am fat and you would be super fat. Like size 22/24 pants

I am 5'4, weigh 98, and have a waist of 25 inches. But it all depends if it is fat or muscle, cause muscle always weighs more. And also many people have a larger bone structer.
Unfortunately, for ur height, a 44 inch waistline and weight of 160 is fairly large. Don't get discouraged though.ur only 13. Try cutting out soda and junk foods. Snack on high fiber foods and walk 30 minutes a day. You'll see a huge difference in very little time. Good luck.

unless your some kind of miracle and your all muscle im sorry to say but your overweight i am 14 and weigh 104 and thats the perfect size for me..so if you want to change your weight & waist size then start gradually working out do 100 crunches a day( maybe 30 or so at a time) and you'll notice a difference in a short amount of time...also be active play some sports and just walk on a treadmill for a mile

i promise im not trying to be mean when i said overweight but i didnt want to lie to you so just take my advice and drop some lbs. in no time

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
44 inch waist is very bad. Belly fat is a good indicator that your heart will take the brunt of being overweight. For the sake of your sweet heart, ask the doctor about this concern. Being 13 means that there will probably never be another time in your life that is better or easier to take action! Mother nature will help you as well, since growing upward is a great way to reduce growing outward. Don't go on any crash or fad diets because you have special nutritional needs right now. Call the pediatrician (which is something you can do on your own if you want!), and get a book from the library. Don't pay any attention to any mean stuff that anyone here might say to you. (or anyone else. Honestly, it really doesn't friggin matter.)
