Is this workout good?
Question:
Answers:
The curls will work your biceps and the pushups will work your triceps and chest so you've got your arms & chest covered.
You'll need to do some curl ups for your stomach, something aerobic for your heart & legs.
Here are some good ideas:
1.Do something that gets your heart rate up a bit like, walking, running, biking, and swimming.
2.Eat Whole, Organic foods like: Broccoli, Cabbage, Organic Brown Rice, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Apples, and other fruits and vegetables in their Natural State.
3.Avoid eating corn, white bread, white rice, candy, sodas, chips, and anything else that you already know you shouldn’t be eating.
4.Drink clean water as your beverage of choice. Avoid Fruit drinks and fruit juices (unless YOU juice them yourself)
5.Stop smoking, drinking beer & wine, and drinking coffee.
6.Get 8 hours of sleep each night.
7.Hang out with people who want to be healthy.
Tone up the muscles:
1.Join a gym and get a trainer.
2.If you’re short on cash, start a light stretching & yoga regimen.
3.Do push-ups, and light dumbbell curls for the upper body.
4.As I said above, walk, run, swim, and or bike.
5.Take an aerobics class, a yoga class, or some other fitness class.
6.Join the local YMCA..
Mental Health:
1.Get a friend to talk to each day about your feelings.
2.If you have some money or insurance, get a counselor to talk to.
3.Learn how to meditate.
4.Join a support group for the issue you’re dealing with.
5.Ask your Higher Self (or God) for guidance.
6.Start keeping a diary or journal about your feelings & thoughts.
7.Write a ‘gratitude’ list every night.
Any workout is usually a good one, try having your workouts last longer, the more time you put your muscles under stress the more you will grow.
I don't understand what you mean by 50, are you saying dumbells? 50 in each arm or 50 combined weight? Or a short barbell with weights on it?
If you're saying 50 lbs in each arm its hard yo believe you can only do 30 push ups each time... unless you're really inbalanced. Try to do more push ups each set.
Honestly, this isn't a workout, you can't just exercise chest and arms... any exercise has an opposite exercise. If you exercise chest you shoulder exercise back, if you exercise biceps you should exercise triceps.
What happened to your shoulders, lats, lower back, legs?
Good luck.
yeah dude, that sounds like a great workout for your arms and chest, very good. however, you might also try doing some incline press too. that will workout your sholders very good. and also, take one of those weights and try doing some tricepts. thats where you lift them behind your head while sitting down. you can probably look it up to see exactly what it looks like. however to answer your question, its a great workout and you will definately be seeing some results, you might not SEE results too fast, but you will definately get stronger doing it.
well, hope this helps
happy lifting!
any weightlifting that makes you sore is doing job, just don't overdo it. You also need to change it up, do "offset" pushups. grab a brick or something around 6 or 8 inches tall and put it under one hand. do your pushups that way, as MANY as you can, change hands and do it again. 3 sets with a good break in between. be sure to work all of your upper body muscles, i have a few friends that insist on bench press, and they have boobs. that's right...HE-HOOTERS! you need to work all your muscles evenly and the offset pushups help spread your chest muscles. you need to do pulldowns, or take the dumbell and do some over the shoulder lifts. ummmm.sit on the bench, palm up, dumbbell up and over the shoulder, elbow pointed to the ceiling, raise the dumbell to the ceiling. you have more that one muscle in your arm. BTW if you get the negatives, you get twice the workout!! why waste that movement and get nothing out of it. don't throw the weight, if you can't lift it with good form, slowly, go down in weight.
do the push ups everyday. and the weights every other..you'll see results in about a month..keep adding more reps or weights as you get stronger and can tolerate more.
