Extremley over weight!?

Question:
ok I am 12 years old and I might be to small to worry about weight but last time I wen to the docter i weighed 135 pounds and I ma 5'2 how can I lose weight without startving myself?

Answers:
*You are still young, don't worry about it too much now. Just have fun, go outside, and eat healthier!*

-Do push ups, sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, jogg in place, jumping jacks, or pull ups. (try to do as much as you can, but make sure you rest for your muscles to rebuild)

-Drink more water, 8-10 glasses of water everyday.

-Cut down on the carbs (there's good, and bad carbs. The bad cars are chips, sodas etc.), fats, and sugars you consume.

-Try to eat more fiber, protein, and have some wheat too.

-Lift weights, the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns.

-If you feel like you are hungry try to have some water, but if you want food, then try to snack in between meals only have fruit and veges, apple, carrot sticks, remember try to eat an apple and banana a day.

-I suggest taking out all fizzy drinks (sodas) and juices.

-Have a good breakfast. Breakfast is so important.

-Eat lean meat.

-I started swimming every morning about 3 weeks ago before I ate breakfast, so far I have lost about 20 pounds of fat, and have gone down 2 waist sizes. I look, and feel way better because when you do a form of cardio exercise before you eat, you are burning the stored fat (stomach, and everything else), other than burning the food you just ate. Plus swimming burns fat, and tones up your muscles. 2 In 1!

Good luck!
Exercise.
start running, walking, or just going to the gym.. eat well too.. its the healthiest idea
exercise 30 minutes 5 days a week and don't eat junk food.

And you are not extremley over weight!
well first.
DONT EXERCISE , like running gyms and stuff
that make the fat turn into MUSCLE which weighs more.

mkay heres what I did,
cuz im 13 and not so "small" but not fat either.

okay;
1)do fun stuff, go to waterparks or beaches!!
*running up stairs for slides or playing in the ocean actually works!!

i lost 20 pounds in less then a week!
=]

2)be sure not to over eat!!
you should have portions of food.
the right portion is about the size of your fist =]
make all your food that portion!
=]

3)Dont feel stressed.
if people dont like you for who u are screw them =]
You're not that heavy and you're kind of young, but it's never to early to start living healthy! Here are some tips:

Get rid of all your sugary foods! Candies, snack cakes, SODA, all that stuff. You can get more than enough sugar from a good amount of fruits everyday!

Substitute your white bread (which gives your body pretty much NO nutritional benefits) to whole grain wheat bread! If you don't like wheat bread, the least you can do is to make your own bread with half whole wheat flour and half regular bread flour. It tastes great, trust me. :)

You need to exercise daily! The average woman (if you're a guy, sorry lol) burns about 1,800 calories a day. So on a recommended 2,000 calorie diet, you need to burn those extra 200 calories by exercising! Swimming or ellipticals are my personal favorite exercises, they reach a full range of muscles and burn twice as many calories twice as fast as jogging!

Also, watch your portions. Millions of people eat TOO MUCH red meat! A serving of meat is about 3 ounces, so that half-pound burger people eat is almost three times a healthy portion.

Instead of eating red meats eat lots of fish! Fish give you protein and really healthy Omega 3 fatty acids which prevent heart disease, cancer, and more.

Eat lots of veggies, especially dark green veggies that are PACKED with vitamins and good nutrients.

And get your three servings of milk, cheese, or yogurt! Millions of people don't get enough calcium. You NEED milk to have strong bones and teeth and I can't stress that enough!

So keep a healthy, balanced diet: Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, calcium, proteins (oh and don't forget to drink enough water, it cuts your risk of urinary tract infections plus your body just needs it anyway).
And exercise every day! Trust me you won't regret it. :)

I hope I helped, and good luck in the future!
hey bro dont worry about it ur still growing over all if ur just wondering just drink more water then u eat and at least go out with ur friends and go do something and when i say that dont go to his or her house and watch tv or play games really go out and do some thing

-good luck bro
You are NOT over weight, you are NOT over weight, you are, most definitely NOT extremely over weight. When I was your age I was 5'3", 135 and a perfect size 7. My doctor told me I was obese and I spent the next 25 years on a roller coaster ride of fad diets and poor eating habits that eventually led to compromising my health. I wish now I had enjoyed myself more when I was slender. Sometimes, particularly after a long workout, I think I would consider donating a body part to get back to that size - lol!

At your age you are going through puberty and still growing so you don't want to focus on hardcore dieting and accidently deprive your body of the nutrients it needs to grow. You never know - you may not be your full height yet and with just a few inches that weight gets nicely distributed.

Consider Brandon's exercise advice and Hollistahbabe22's advice about portion control because its good advice . But under no circumstances should you attempt to lose 20 pounds in a week (or even a month) - that is SO unhealthy. A reasonable expectation would be losing 1 - 2 pounds a week.

Also, Hollistahbabe22 is mistaken about muscle weighing more than fat - they both weigh the same. Muscle is more compact and takes up less room than fat - so you can be very fit and a smaller size than someone who weighs the exact same amount as you simply by the difference between muscle and fat. In addition, muscle helps you burn more calories and more effectively - thats why if you want to lose weight everyone encourages you to exercise. Take some long walks, ride a bike, join a school or community sports team like softball or soccer or the swim team - that all counts as exercise.

If you are still worried about your weight maybe you can ask your parents if you can see a nutritionist. A good nutritionist can help you figure out how much protein, fat and carbs you should be eating and how to read and understand those labels they put on food. That could lead to you make healthy choices on eating (if you aren't already).

I think if you start incorporating exercise, portion control, healthy eating habits and drink plenty of fluids that you will find yourself turning into a fit and healthy person. Maybe in the process you will lose some weight, but maybe not. Maybe you will lose inches around your bust, hips, abs instead. Either way, if you can get into the habit of exercise and eating healthy now, you will be a long way
ahead" of the game than many grown adults in this country.

Good luck to you.
Excersice ride your bike or something try to be active. An deat healthy while your at it
