Answers:
I only know Weight Watchers and it have work for me and my friends, recently even for my mom, so I really believe in it.
First I will tell you that I tried many diets even some in Mexico that include medicament that Worked but almost kill me, but always gain my weight back, the think that I like about WW is that first of all is not a Diet, is kind of a style of life, they educate you as much as motivate you, There's no food prohibited as in many many diets, here you learn to make the right choices, nobody chooses for you and you learn a new style of life, eating style that is. I have many new friend that have same weigh problems and understand me and we share, its a support system to keep you motivated, it's fan really! learn and teach from others, real life tips from real people, not only marketing promises. I have lost a lot of weight and still eat my favorites like Starbucks coffeee, cookies, coffe candies, etc.
I learn to cook the same fav. meals with less calories and fat, the changes have been slow but steady, I really like how I feel, they will not tell you how much you should weight, they give you a range for your height and age, but you are the one that make the choice of how much weight to loose and how, even when you don't loose weight they make you feel good about the changes in your life and motivate you even more.
Also Weight watchers don't make you d exercise if you don't want or can't only recommended, but it doesn't depend in exercise, it has lots of cook books and motivational book, plus a magazine with great info. tips and recipes, that keep me motivated because I love to read, of course also have foods that can buy in the grocery store, great for those that usually don't cook or prefer frozen foods. personally I prefer to cook my own meals so I just change my own recipes a little to make them have less fat, etc. and add some of their recipes too. They also have support on line, recipes, etc.
I could keep talking about it for hours, but I recommend you to try it, the 1st meeting is free in most places, and you'll see the change in just 1 wk.
Nutrisystem works. Don't know about the others.
I think weight watchers is something that you can maintain in the long run. The thing that really worked for me is holding off eating during the day as long as possible. I never eat before noon. If I can hold off until 3pm, I am golden for the day. If I eat earlier in the day I am hungry all day. Everyone says this doesn't work but its how I lost 30 lbs
I am doing WW and have lost 15 pounds that I wanted to lose. I think it is an excellent plan. You can eat anything you want (in moderation). It really teaches you how to eat. Also it is $40 a month, so the price is right. The support and information on the WW website is really wonderful. I also think you should go to meetings, weighing in really helps keep me accountable. Weight watchers has two plans, flex (where foods are assigned point values and you can eat so many points a day) and core (where you can eat as much of any food on a list of core foods to satisfaction). I've lost most of my weight on core (though most people do flex). It has really helped me to improve my diet by eating more fruit and vegetables.
Can't give any advice about Jenny Craig.

Helpful Tips for weight loss:
1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch
Keep to a 1,200 food intake
Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.
I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127
2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.
