Gym?????/?

Question:
i go to the gym every morning now, and i need to drop alot of wieght, and tone up, how long should i use the tred mill for? and how many crunches should i do to tone my stomach?

Answers:
30 to 45 mins of cardio in the morning is great! You should do 3 sets of 20 crunchs in the morning and then before bed. You can increase your totals gradually. Drink lots of water and stay away from bread, pasta, rice and desserts.

Good Luck
u need to do the tred mill for about an hour and do about 500 crunches and dont do it everyday
try the treadmill for an hour, and do 4 sets of 30 crunches instead, you will lose the weight faster that way.
35 minutes on the tread mill, and 220 crunches. Or 45 Minutes of hot sex.
well a tred mill for about half hour a day shood tone stedily
and 300 crunches
and 100 side crunches to each side shood work ur abs
u need 2 sretch extra, it helps tone and so ur musles will stay relaxed
umm.. i run a mile like everyday then a few sprints and its kinda weird but my legs and stomach are getting toned but you could also try doing like 25-50 crunches a day or twice a day
ummm,
u should at least run on the tred mill 30minn..
u should do at least 100 cruches and pushups each.
I do thirty minutes of cardio first to get my heart rate going! As far as crunchs go so many people do them wrong that I would avoid doing them! What completly tones my stomach is this machine. Its a tall machine that only has two bars and the top. You step up on it and hold youself up with your amrs on the bars and let your body just hang in mid air. I will swing my legs out as high as I can and bring them down slow. This elimnates hurting your neck and back and I just did 3 sets of 10 and FELT IT IN THE MORNING. I have done it ever since. Im sorry if my description of the machine is vague but its a really simple work out of just holding your body up with your arms and swing your legs out. YOur stomach muscles do all the work!
Good Luck!
Try following:

1) Have a healthy and balanced permanent diet: dark green vegetables, fresh fruits, whole wheat and whole grain products, non-fat dairy products, fish, poultry breast, lean red meat, egg white.

Get list of calories in food from the following link:
http://www.weight-loss-choice.com/food_c...

2) Start exercising

Aerobic and weight training will raise your metabolic rate. In result, your body will burn more calories.

* aerobic exercising

3 times per week, conduct an exercise that keeps your heart rate elevated for at least 30-45 minutes (ex: walking, running, cycling, swimming, aerobics, etc: check out following link for more details about good exercise choices
http://www.weight-loss-choice.com/exerci...

* weight training

Alternate days of aerobics with weight training. You will build muscles that will burn more calories, even when at rest!

The only way to lose weight is to lose fat proportionately from your entire body by burning more calories than you consume. So making healthy food choices and exercise is my suggestion.

Hope this helps.
Take care
All of the gyms I've gone to have had people working there that will set up an exercise program to suit you, what your looking for, your abilities and health level.

Are you running or walking on the treadmill? If youre running, working on time and distance. Find a distance that works for you. Do one, two or three miles, or more if you want. time how long it takes you to get there. So maybe you run 3 miles in 30 minutes. the next day, sprint half of that distance or just try to run it faster. So if initially it takes you 15 minutes to run 1.5 miles, then try to rune .75 in 7 minutes. Here you cut a minute off your time. If you run 2miles in 20 minutes one day try to run 1 mile in 8-9 minutes the next. That way your constantly progressing you speed. Then go back to your initial distance and time. keep this rotation, so your body wont burn out constantly trying to run sprints.

Crunches wont do much for trimming your tummy alone. It actually doesnt burn calories in the area. It just compresses your ab muscles without properly streching them. The abs are not a weight bearing muscle. The purpose of the abs is to stabalize our body so we can stand up straight. Try holding the top of a puch up position for a minute and do it for 4 minutes. So hold for as long as you can, then relax for 20 sec. then push up again for the total of 4 minutes. When you do this dont let your back collapse, suck in your belly button to apply pressure against the spine. Try to not let you neck reach for the ground either. This works the ab muscles, by causing them to stabilize your frame. Your back is going to wanna collapse but just hold strong for as long as you can. Do this as a cool down after you run. You can also incorporate a few sets of situps between your rest in the 4 minutes segment. Do sets of 20, rest, pushup hold, rest, sit ups...etc.
Well i would suggest u first to avoid all junk foods and all oily stuffs then before going to gym have a glass of lemon wate r ok,for weight loss use the tred mill for 15 minutes,i think you should do 5 sets for crunches each of 30 its good if u can do some more sets in your home... and drink a glass of fruit juice after exercise,i m telling this bcoz i m going to gym about 2 years...and i use to workout for abt 2 hrs daily..it makes me feel good and look confident...so eat healthy think positive, look good ,, i hope it will help you..
i would never get on a treadmill bc it misaligns your body, but when you're young you don't realize it
i would use an elliptical machine bc it's less stressful on the joints - min. 30 max. 40

crunches - don't work - abs respond to different types of exercises...if you do five hundred abs, you're not doing anything to strengthen or flatten your abs

mat Pilate's...ball Pilate's...yoga concentrate on the core muscles and constantly attack the abs in various exercises...the bottom line you can't do the same continuous exercise

I did aerobics and crunches for twenty years and for the past three years I do ball/mat Pilate's and yoga...I am one hundred times stronger and my stomach is one hundred percent flatter and this exercise is so much more challenging and interesting than crunches...I am so lucky to have found the wonderful instructor.
