The best range to lose weight in is 1 to 2.5 lbs a week. This will allow your body to accustom itself to the loss and the skin to regain its prestretched stage. Losing weight too quickly will cause the skin of abdomen, chest and inner thighs to sag, possibly dramatically. I don’t personally believe in any of the fad diets that keep showing up. I think that they put your body into an unhealthy famine mode which will cause you to gain the fat right back if you start to eat normally again. The best idea is to eliminate all junk food. You can do a cheat day if you need to but don’t go overboard. Eat balanced meals of reasonable size. Overeating will cause your stomach to be too large and you will still feel hungry when you’re not. Also have lots of healthy snacks during the day. Ideally you’ll want to eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. Carry food with you so you aren’t tempted to eat unhealthily when you’re out of the house. And don’t buy unhealthy foods. Get foods that are low in bad fats—we do need fat to survive but not saturated fat. Minimize the processed flours and sugars, no white bread, no sugar. Choose leaner meats and protein sources. Don’t expect to eat pizza and burritos all the time and lose weight. And eat tons of vegetables. Eat salads, steamed vegetables and raw vegetables too. You can’t eat so much celery that you’ll get fat. Don’t eat too much fruit or things containing high fructose corn syrup. The reason is that fructose is hard on the liver because it can only be metabolized there. You can eat fruit during or after a workout. Don’t eat late at night because your body will turn it into fat. Eat a smaller amount of calories than needed to maintain your weight. You have burn more than you intake. Always exercise. Cardio especially, but weights are good too. Don’t give up. You’ll be glad you chose to lose the weight.

I am a great believer in the seafood diet. I see food and I eat it.
The answer is simple; diet and exercise.
1) Have a healthy and balanced permanent diet: dark green vegetables, fresh fruits, whole wheat and whole grain products, non-fat dairy products, fish, poultry breast, lean red meat, egg white.
You should cut out all sugar, soda, non-whole grain products and saturated fats: These aliments should only be a reward for achieving a goal, not a habit!
Get list of calories in food from the following link:
http://www.weight-loss-choice.com/food_c...
2) Start exercising
Aerobic and weight training will raise your metabolic rate. In result, your body will burn more calories.
* aerobic exercising
3 times per week, conduct an exercise that keeps your heart rate elevated for at least 30-45 minutes (ex: walking, running, cycling, swimming, aerobics, etc: check out following link for more details about good exercise choices
http://www.weight-loss-choice.com/exerci...
* weight training
Alternate days of aerobics with weight training. You will build muscles that will burn more calories, even when at rest!
The only way to lose weight is to lose fat proportionately from your entire body by burning more calories than you consume. So making healthy food choices and exercise is my suggestion.
Hope this answer helps.
Take care,

The best diet for me was the t-lite diet. I lost 10 pounds in 3 days. Go on google and search t-lite. they are these pills that you eat with lunch, breakfast and dinner. Trust me no harm.
Follow this diet and buy the t-lite thing. here's the diet page. http://www.t-lite.net/frame-5-dietplanfa...
I find slimming world excellent. It is a healthy eating diet therefore it teaches you to just change the way you eat which you can follow for the rest of your life. The problem with a lot of diets is that you cant follow them forever so you end up just putting the weight back on. Also with slimming world you get support each week which really does make a difference. I lost a stone in my first month with them and have continued to lose, i have been doing it for a year now and have found maintaining the weight lose very easy.
Buy the slimming world magazine and read the stories and have a look at the recipes, the stories give you a real incentive.

Okay, first ignore all the crappy fad diets.
I repeat, ignore all the 'fad' diets.
The only way you will lose weight is through a good, healthy diet and excercise.
Eat four or five small to medium meals a day, containing carbs (pasta/rice/potatoes), protien (chicken, fish, etc) and vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (lots of fresh fruit and veg).
Now excercise, which is just as important.
Remember that there is a HUGE difference between weight and body fat levels.
You will not always lose weight when you excercise, often because of toning muscle mass you will put it on, but that is still fine as long as your body fat levels stay at a healthy level.
First of all cardio is a must. (running/swimming/cycling/etc) this will make you healthier, keep your body fat levels down and tone you up.
This is the best way to lose fat.
Strength and weight training is also important.
Use really light weights but lots of reps on your major areas (arms, chest, shoulders, etc) this will 'tone' your muscles and define them rather than building bulk. Also do a lot of squats, lunges for your legs and a lot of torso excercises (abs/obliques/etc).
As you tone up and use your muscles, your body will be stronger and healthier, and the muscles will increase your metabolism, which will burn more fat.
Good luck.
A month is not really much time, but you will start to see a little change if you start this now.
