How many carbs should you eat a day if your trying to lose weight?

Question:

Answers:
I wouldn't necessarily eat less carbs because u will then feel weak and short of energy...Eat the normal daily amount but just try and do more exercise to lose the weight.
Keep it under 35 and you will lose weight. I have used Lo-Carb diet on and off for years when I want to drop that extra weight and it worked everytime for me.
i wud suggest limiting the carbs as they are complex sugar molecules and are likely to lead to weight gain if u eat loads but still EAT SOME!

so like if you have pasta, make lots of veggies and some sauce and then just a bit of pasta

please dont cut them out altogether as you will have little energy and this can lead to low mood and snacking on worse things
As always, the key to weight loss and management is calories, not carbs. Carbs have more calories, that's why people care, but it all boils down to intake vs. output. If you want to take weight off, eat less calories than you burn.
I am assuming you mean simple carbs - in a perfect world there would be next to none in your diet and enjoyed as treats only.
Complex carbs (like whole grains and sweet potatoes) should remain limited at around 4 servings a day, ideally before evening.
if you are going to be active I would suggest around 7 servings but if you are going to be sitting around etc then maybe only around 4 servings of carbohydrates would be necessary make sure you are consuming wholegrains and stay away from processed food such as white bread
