My mom says to be heathly that you have to intake a minimum of 2,100 caloires but I heard that to be heathly you need 1,200 caloires. I think she is using the numbers from over nine years ago when she taught water arobics. Which one is correct? Has the caloire intake changed since the last time my mom had researched it or are her numbers just off? I really would like to know. I really think its 1,200, but I could be wrong. Any answers?

It depends on how much you weigh and your daily activity level and how tall you are.
If you are very tall and active, 2000 might not be enough, if you are short and not active around 1200 is probably about right.
i heard from somewhere it was like 1400ish, but i try to do like 1000, 2000 is soooo much! u will definitely gain weight, unless u play a sport, then i would do like 1600, but no more than that i would say
