I always heard 100 pounds allowance for the first 5 feet, and then five pounds for every inch above 5 feet. So.that would put you at 120.
BUT. It also depends on how much muscle mass you have. Muscle weighs more than fat.
How much should you weigh?? Whatever YOU are comfortable with (within reason ~ no one should be emaciated or morbidly obese). Whatever makes you happy. You have to set that for yourself.
Are you happy at 140? If you're not, do something about it.get to a point where you ARE happy. :)

Hi, first off if you only weighed 100lbs. and were 5'4 you would be a sick stick with arms sticking out. Anyway, it really does depend on how much is muscle, I'm 5'3 and I once weighed about 135 and I was overweight, I have a small frame and there wasn't a muscle to be found!LOL. If you're fit and strong and don't have too much belly fat (that's my problem area, and is the unhealthy place to have it) then 140 could be good for you. Regardless of frame, I wouldn't think you should go lower than 125 to 130. Hope this helped!
Unless you're an athlete, and it is all muscle weight, you definitely should lose, but just a little. You ideal healthy weight depends on your age a few other things. According to BMI table on wikipedia you are around the borderline between normal and overweight. A good diet/exercise regiment should help you lose 5-10 lbs in a 4-6 weeks to bring you into the mid-normal range.
Of course, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor about it.
Ok hun I am 5'4" as well and before I got pregnant I was 150 lbs now I weigh 271 but remember I'm pregnant with possible twins so I carry more weight so let me tell you from someone who has gone from being big to small back to big again let me tell you if you think you look good with the way you are then your fine but I did a check on your height and weight on this site you can check out yourself and it says your in the normal range

skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
eat fruits at night if your hungry.
drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.
